We are pleased to announce an interesting networking evening with the topic “Business development and e-commerce in Italy” to be held in Rome. The speakers will be Vice President Godelieve Cooymans of Proaxxes Srl and Olaf Bussink of E-taly Srl.
Godelieve will discuss the activities of her company, which are inter alia providing commercial business growth services in Italy to foreign companies and to Italian SME’s on the global market place.
The services delivered by Olaf are similar to those of Godelieve but for e-commerce companies that wish to operate in Italy. Olaf will also tell us about the fast-growing Italian e-commerce market and illustrate some particularities such as the fact that Italians are starting to order goods with their telephone.
The presentations will be followed by a buffet-dinner.

Embassy of The Netherlands and NRBC organize networking event with Manifesta in Rome
We are pleased to announce that the Embassy of The Netherlands and the NRBC are organizing an evening in Rome with Manifesta on 25 September 2017.
Manifesta is a Dutch foundation that organizes a European Biennial of Contemporary Art and changes its location every two years (see manifesta.org). Manifesta 12 will be held from 16 June until 4 November 2018 in Palermo. The City of Palermo was selected by Manifesta because it represents two important themes that identify contemporary Europe: migration and climate changes and how these themes impact the European cities.
Only members who have paid their 2017 membership will be allowed to attend.
More information will follow.

In the mean time …
We are pleased to announce that the next NRBC evening in Rome will be held with as speaker the Dutch Ambassador to the Italian Republic, his Excellency Joep Wijnands.
During this evening, which will be held on 5 July 2016, Ambassador Wijnands will look back at the first semester of 2016, during which The Netherlands was the EU Presidency holder.
The Netherlands’ EU Presidency 2016 website shows our country’s guiding principles for this task, namely that EU should be a Union that focuses on the essentials, on growth and jobs through innovation and that connects with civil society. In addition, it mentions that as President, The Netherlands will be aiming at four priority areas: Migration & international security; Europe as an innovator & job creator; Sound finances and a robust Eurozone; and forward-looking climate & energy policy.
Ambassador Wijnands will describe which activities our country and the Dutch Embassy in Rome performed to make progress in relation to the mentioned priority area’s and what Slovakia needs to do in order to continue the improvements obtained by The Netherlands.
However, only NRBC members who have paid their annual Euro 35 administrative fee (which covers, inter alia, the maintenance of the website, the bank account costs and the presents for the speakers) are allowed to attend. If you have not yet paid such contribution, please wire the amount to:
