Last Tuesday May 23rd, members of the NRBC were invited for the ‘Sneak Peek Hard Hat Tour’ through The Student Hotel, to be opened this autumn in Florence.
Later this year, infact, The Student Hotel will be unveiling a seriously cool project: a game-changing hotel and co-living hybrid, with 370 hotel rooms for business and leisure travelers, expats, global nomads and students, complete with an in-house gym, rooftop pool, co-working spaces, bar-restaurant, and much more.
With nine hotels built, eight under construction, and 41 to be open by 2021 The Student Hotel aims to be the world’s largest Complete Connected Community for co-living and co-working. Florence is the first opening of this amazing concept in Italy. More Italian cities will follow in the next future, such as Rome, Bologna and Torino.
Before the start of the Hard Hat Tour, an interesting presentation on the concept was given by Frank Uffen (Director of Partnerships, The Student Hotel) and Marc Sampietro (Regional Operations Director TSH Italy). Pre-tour drinks and bites were perfectly organized by NRBC member Miriam Welsing and her team of the company MIRacoli.
MIRacoli has for this occasion managed to use a private courtyard within walking distance of The Student Hotel, transformed into a colorful reception area, entirely in the colors of TSH.
After the delicious drinks and bites, guests in small groups were personally guided by the staff of TSH to and through the impressive complex under construction of the ‘Palazzo del Sonno’ in Viale Spartaco Lavagnini, including a roof top swimming pool with a breath-taking view on Florence and the surrounding hills.
The Student Hotel in Florence will open its first student rooms this autumn, while the official opening of the entire building is planned for spring 2018.
